Richard J. Poindexter, age 66, of Selmer, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. There are no services scheduled at this time.
Richard was born October 29, 1955 in McNairy County to the late Roland and Liza Poindexter. He went to McNairy County High School and was a self employed roofer. He loved fishing, playing dominoes, softball and aggravating and joking with his friends and family.
Ricky is survived by his sons, Chase Poindexter (Felecia) and Jeremy Poindexter (Jessica); daughter, Shellie King; grandchildren, Alan, Monty, Garrett, Carleigh, Isabelle and Lillian; brother, Reggie Poindexter; and a sister, Diane Wooten (Gilbert).
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jerry Poindexter; and sister, Joan Hawkins.
