Sarah Elliott Dempsey, 62, died in the early hours of Friday, November 26, 2021 as the result of a house fire. Sarah was the daughter of the late Sarah Pleasant Elliott and Charles W. Elliott, who survives. Sarah was preceded in death by her mother, Sara and her only child, daughter Marie Dempsey on Aug. 23, 2020. She had been employed by North Miss. Medical Center for over 35 years at Longtown and in the Radiology Department.
A service celebrating her life will be held at 1:30 PM Tuesday, November 30, 2021 in the Sadie Holland Memorial Chapel at Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo. Visitation will be from Noon-service time Tuesday only.
Sara is survived by her father, Charles Elliott of Mooreville and her brother, David Elliott of Mooreville. A full obituary will be published on Sunday by Holland Funeral Directors, which is honored to be serving their friends.
