Danny Joe Greer

Danny Joe Greer, 70, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2021 at his residence. He was born on September 2, 1951 in Union County to Danny Joe Greer and Jessica Faye Marie Gates Greer. He was retired from Styleline Furniture. He enjoyed watching football, playing dominoes and singing in church. He loved his grandchildren, great grandchildren and all his family. He was a member of Crossroads Church.
Funeral services will be at 12:00p.m. Thursday, December 2, 2021 at United Funeral Service with Bro. David Bishop officiating. Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery in Pinedale.
He is survived by a daughter, Jessica Whaley; four sons, Daniel Parker, Kevin Greer, Brian Shettles and Danny Joe Greer, Jr.; three sisters, Jonnie Vanstory, Betty Self and Sherry O’Connell; three brothers, Terry Greer, Reggie Colbert and Charles Hale; sixteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Patricia Greer; a son, Ricky Suddith; and two sisters, Rhonda Pannell and Vickie Greer.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Vanstory, Zachary Vanstory, Cody Hale, Andy Lumpkin, Will Self, David Hale, B.J. Self, and Bradley Self, III.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from 5:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00a.m. until service time, all times are at the funeral home.
