West Point, MS – Ann Bryan Cox, 81, died, December 13, 2021 at her residence in West Point. Ann was born September 19, 1940 in West Point to the late Alma Coggins and Herman Pettet. Ann was a Special Needs Administrator for Community Counseling Services for 15 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of West Point. Ann married Bill Cox on May 26, 2000 in Selmer, TN. She was predeceased by her parents and one brother; James Robert Pettet.
Ann enjoyed spending time with her family. She also spent her days watching humming birds, doing word search puzzles and reading books. She was a graduate of West Point High School class of 1958.
Graveside funeral services will be Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 11:00 am from West Point Memorial Garden with the Brother Dale Funderburg officiating. Burial will follow immediately in Memorial Garden in West Point. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include husband Bill Cox of West Point, one daughter, Dana Bryan McCaskill of West Point, two sons, Mike Bryan (Renee) of Hamilton and Barry Bryan of West Point, five grandchildren; Scot Bryan, Pat Bryan, Kristin Conaway, Zach Bryan (Bridget) and Devon McCaskill, 8 great grandchildren, one sister; Sandra Pesnell and one brother; Tommy Pettet.
