Mrs. Kathlyn Kay House Bishop, 73, died Sunday, December 12, 2021, at her home in Oxford, MS. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. at Denmark Cemetery with Rev. Derrick Starnes officiating.

Mrs. Bishop was born on January 13, 1948, to the late Gladys Lorene Drewrey and Richard Ervin House.  She worked for the Lafayette County School District in the cafeteria, retiring after many years of service.  Mrs. Bishop loved to cook and spending time in her garden. She canned many foods over the years.  Mrs. Bishop loved her family and grandchildren.

Mrs. Bishop is survived by her husband Joe Frances Bishop of Oxford, MS; a daughter Debra Gillespie of Oxford, MS; a son Randy Bishop and his wife, Trina of Oxford, MS; two sisters Brenda Grose and Carolyn Newman, both of Oxford, MS; a brother Gene House of Oxford, MS; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
