Mr. Glenn Russell “Russ” Allen, 66, passed away on December 19, 2021, at his residence in Cedar Bluff. Russ was born on September 1, 1955, in West Point, the son of Louise Stafford Allen and the late James William Allen. Russ was a 1973 graduate of West Point High School. He was a Supervisor for Systems Contracting Corporation in Columbus for 6 years. He was loving father and son. He loved his fur companion, Smokie. He was of the Baptist faith.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, from 12:00-1:00 P.M. at Calvert Funeral Home in West Point. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 P.M. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dale Funderburg officiating. Burial will follow in McCondy Cemetery in Chickasaw County. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Survivors include his three sons, Cody Allen of West Point, Bradley Allen of Kansas City, Missouri, and Taylor Allen of Starkville: his mother, Louise Allen and a brother, Billy Allen, both of Cedar Bluff.

Pallbearers will be Don Lawler, Harold Elkins, Randy Criswell, Jimmy Allen, Eddie Bock, and Tyler Graham.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Herbert Wooten and Friends and Fellow Employees at Systems Contracting Corporation.
