West Point, Ms – Reba Belinda Hyde, 74, passed away, on January 7, 2022 at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo. Belinda Hyde was born July 28, 1947, in Maben, the daughter of the late Leander and Vera Swindoll Vaughn. Belinda was employed by Artex of Mississippi as a seamstress for several years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who cherished spending time with her grandchildren. She was considered the ultimate home maker who was always busy taking care of her family. Belinda loved to cook as well as travel. She had a passion for growing flowers and raising kittens. She was of the Baptist faith. She married her husband Jimmy D. Hyde on September 2, 1967. He preceded her in death on September 1, 2021.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 11:00 am from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. James Towery officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in West Point, MS. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include her daughter, Becky Jones of Greenwood Springs; her son, Brian Hyde (Karen) of Pineville, LA; 6 grandchildren; Ross, Nathan, Emily, Lindsey, Joe and Amy, 7 great grandchildren, two sisters; Corinne Peacock and Virginia Fondren, two brothers; Glenn Vaughn (Cynthia) and Darrell Vaughn. Those preceding Belinda in death were her parents, a daughter, Rhonda Hyde, a sister, Clois Walker and two brothers, Dorsey Moore and Billy Vaughn.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Jones, Greg Holloway, Ross Hyde, Lashun Swing, Shea Terry and Joseph Hyde.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Plaza, Memphis, TN 38105.

Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 am Prior to the service at Calvert Funeral Home.
