New Albany-Matthew Earl Bowen, 36, departed this life on January 9, 2022. He was born March 4, 1985, to Leonard Wayne Bowen and Donna Kay Brown Bowen in Clarksville Arkansas. Matthew and his wife, Christy, lived in New Albany where they are raising their two boys, Braxton and Ben-Preston. Matthew was employed at Dipstix in New Albany. He had such a beautiful and contagious smile, it earned him the name “Cheese” as he was growing up. Matthew was always on the go, he loved to ride and was never still for very long. One of his favorite sayings was, “You see what happened was”. With his big smile, it was always easy for him to make friends, and he was always helping others every chance he got.
