Rebecca Whitley

Rebecca Janet Whitley, 83, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Stone Ridge Assisted Living in Corinth. She was born in Alcorn County on August 25, 1938, to Homer Lee Parvin and Virdie Mae Hardin Parvin. She was a member of North Rienzi Church of Christ. She loved her church, family and friends.
Visitation will be on Saturday, January 15, 2022, from 1:00 until 3:00 PM at Booneville Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Booneville Funeral Home with Bro. Wade Davis officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Gardens in Corinth. Booneville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her son, Kenny Whitley (Joangela) of Booneville; brother, Eddie Parvin (Peggy) of Corinth; grandson, Brandon Whitley (Chrystal); granddaughter, Anna Tilley; great-grandchildren, Bo Whitley, Charlotte Whitley, Tucker Whitley, Bryson Tilley, and Kaytlin Tilley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Whitley and her parents.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Parvin, John B. Perry, Virgil Burcham, Finis Ivy, John William Perry, and Tim Davis.
