Funeral services for Maxine Fulks, 92, are set for 1:00 pm Wednesday at Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Henry Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at Memorial Funeral Home.
Ms. Fulks died Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Whitfield Nursing Home. She was born on Friday, May 10, 1929 to the late W.O. and Mattie Pearl Carroll Whitaker. She was member of Gospel Tabernacle and retired from ITT.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, J.D. Fulks; sister, Dora Jean (John) Vassar; and brother, Thurman (Louise) Whitaker.
Survivors include her nephews, Jimmy (Diane) Whitaker and Matthew (Meda) Vassar; niece, Trena (Ricky) Null; a host of great-nieces and great-nephews; and her caregivers at Whitfield Nursing Home.
