Steens – Julie Nicole McCutcheon, 43, met her Savior face to face on Friday, January 28, 2022. She was born on March 3, 1978, to Sandra Henrietta Allen McCutcheon and the late Walter McCutcheon.

Julie grew up in Lowndes County and graduated from Caldeonia High School with the class of 1996 where she was active in the Beta Club. She made many memories during her years in Caledonia and graduation day was one of her favorites. She then furthered her education by attending Mississippi University for Women where she got her Associates Degree in Business. Julie was working for S.A.S., the distributor for Walmart, where she was a retail manager.

She had a huge heart and loved people and the Lord. Julie made a profession of faith in Christ as her Savior and this decision was the most important in her life. She was an online member of The Pentecostal Lighthouse Church in Denham Springs, LA. She really enjoyed the message given by Pastor Mike Allen and all the Christian love his wife, Tina Allen, gave to her. A young lady with great compassion, she was very passionate about the ASPCA and rescuing animals in distress. She even adopted several animals and gave them a great home. A loving young lady, Julie seemed to always put others before herself.

In her free time, she liked to listen to Soft Rock music, spend time with her family and friends, especially her lifelong friend, Kay Peterson. Julie was a beautiful, kind hearted soul, who loved her family and animals with all she had. So many great memories through the years will be cherished forever by her family and friends. Although her leaving so soon is painful, they know that she is safe, in the arms of Jesus.

Left behind to cherish the memories of her are her mama, Henrietta Allen McCutcheon, Steens, MS; her stepmother, Alice Ann McCutcheon; step-sisters, Misty Murphy and Ashley Baucom, Columbus; numerous cousins; close friend, Kay Peterson; other friends and family.

In addition to her father, Walter McCutcheon, she was preceded in death by her daughters, Emily McCutcheon Breelle, Elana McCutcheon; maternal grandparents, William Henry and Annita Mangum Allen; paternal grandparents, David and Willowdean McCutcheon; Uncle, Roy J. Allen.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at a later date and the website will be updated when service dates are set.
