Mary Franks

Mary Lou Franks, 87, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Longwood Community Living Center in Booneville. She was born in Itawamba County on October 22, 1934, to Minor Bridges and Annie Blaylock Bridges. She enjoyed fishing, sewing, cooking, and listening to gospel music. She was a member of Jesus Name House of Prayer.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at Booneville Funeral Home with Bro. Scotty Downs officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 1, 2022, from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at Booneville Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Booneville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her sons, William Franks of Booneville, and Dalton Franks; daughter, Sherry McClellan and her husband, Roy, of Booneville; sister, Oldie Tueffel and husband, Ron, of Booneville; grandchildren, Tessia Koehlinger, J.R. McClellan, Angel Murphy, Lee Murphy, Alice Murphy, Tracy Murphy, Andy Franks, Ashley Franks, Tyler Jackson, Brandon Bates, Hunter Koehlinger, Austin Koehlinger, Blayza McClellan, and Chandler McClellan; special friend, Amanda Posey; 11 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clatus Franks; infants, Roselee Franks and Mitchell Wayne Franks; daughter, Joyce Murphy; sister, Shirley McDougal; and two brothers, Donald Bridges and Sambo Bridges.
Pallbearers will be J. R. McClellan, Michael Lambert, William Franks, Hunter Koehlinger, Trey Evans, Chandler Tigner, and Austin Koehlinger.
