Service to celebrate the life of Bruce Shaw, 74, will be held at 3:00 pm Friday at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Liberty Family Cemetery in Michie, TN. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Memorial.
Bruce died on February 7, 2022 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born in Dyersburg, TN on April 6, 1947 to the late Atha Thomas and Jesse Marie McDonald Shaw. He attended Living Springs Freewill Baptist Church. He worked professionally as a brick mason but also was a mechanic and restored cars. He enjoyed meeting his pals for breakfast and going to the dragstrip on the weekends with friends.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Shaw of Michie; sons, Shannon Shaw and Kirk Shaw; daughter, Tonya Shaw; grandchildren, Dyllan Shaw, Kaitlyn Shaw, Gabriel Shaw, Alexis Shaw, Keegan Shaw, Brantley Nelms and Lily Anna Mabry; great-grandchildren, Indie Shaw and Addie Wyte; brother, Glenn Shaw; and sisters, Brenda Curtis and Faye Newcomb.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Shaw; sister, Ruby Ryan; and grandchildren, Hunter and Brandon Shaw.
