Mrs. Alice Black, 88, transitioned on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, Baptist Hospital, Oxford, MS.

On February 8, 2022 God then summoned his death angel and ordered him to bring Alice "Dit" Black unto him. Alice obeyed and departed this earth. Alice Black was born  July 19, 1933 to  Joanna Fowler and Robert Young in Panola County, MS.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Eugene Black, her son: Edna Earl Black and sisters: Wadie Mae Black and Willie Mae Lee.

Alice leaves her devoted and caring family: Eugene Black, Jr. (Maggie), Fred Black, Otis O. Black, Clyde Black (Shunda) of Como, MS and Floyd Black of Sardis, MS, Mae Alice Carothers (Steve), Coretta Allen (Alvin), Dorothy Howard of New Orleans, LA, Lora A. Black of Como, MS,  a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and special friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 12, 2022, 12:00 Noon to 1:30 p.m., Ruffin Grove M.B. Church, Como, MS

Graveside Service will be Saturday, February 12, 2022, 2:00 p.m., Mt. Level Church Cemetery, Como, MS
