Mrs. Margie Holcomb, 68, transitioned on Sunday, February 6, 2022.

Mrs. Margie Ree Holcomb was born to Magnolia Allen and the late James T. Allen  on August 16, 1953. Margie accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and became a  member of Sims Chapel MB Church. She later joined Miracle Temple Overcoming Church of God (Miracle Temple Salt & Light Ministries) in Lamar, MS under the leadership of Bishop L.T. Mason where she served on the Usher Board and then became an Over-Reach Missionary. 
She served on the Intercessor Team while interceding and praying for souls by way of phone ministries. She faithfully texted (communicated) the word of God to over a hundred souls individually. She was employed by God and was a faithful wife and homemaker. She loved gardening, cooking, and caring for her grandchildren. Margie entered the union of marriage with Dwight D. Holcomb on May 31, 1975. 
Margie made her transition Sunday night, February 6, 2022, at home in Lamar, MS.  She preceded in death three brothers, James (Blue) Allen, Sam Allen, and Aurthur Wayne Allen. Her daughter-in-law, Renee Holcomb and five brothers-in- law.
Margie leaves to cherish her memories, a loving husband, Dwight D Holcomb of Lamar, MS; six children, Dwight Jr. Holcomb, Vonsha Holcomb and Martinous Holcomb of Lamar, MS; Latayna (George) Jenkins of Jackson, MS, Marco Holcomb of Olive Branch, MS and Danielle Holcomb of Memphis, TN; two brothers, Charles (Patricia) Allen of Olive Branch, MS, Melvin (Georgia) Allen of Lamar, MS; one sister, Helen Allen-Thomas of Lamar, MS; three sisters-in-law, Gloria Preston and Earnestine Williams of Lama, MS; Elizabeth (James) Rainie of Olive Branch, MS; fourteen grandchildren; two god-sons, Elder Daryl Mason and Marco House (Stephanie); two best friends, Ann Franklin and Lois Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 10, 2022, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Miracle Temple, 1126 Allen Corner Road, Lamar, MS.

Service will be Friday, February 11, 2022, 1:00 p.m., at Miracle Temple, 1126 Allen Corner Road, Lamar, MS.

Burial will take place at Miracle Temple Church Cemetery, 6072 Lamar Road, Lamar, MS.
