Ronnie Dean Ponder, 58, passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Union County. He was born October 21, 1963 in Mariposa, California to James K. Ponder and Willie Jean Gifford Ponder.
He is survived by his dog, Whiskey; three children, Destiny Ponder, Ryan Ponder and Rickey Ponder; five sisters, Connie Vaughn, Shelia Boyer, Elizabeth Turner, Peggy Tremblay and Deborah Butler; two brothers, Byron Ponder and Jeffery Ponder. He is also survived by his grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Lacey Ponder; and a brother, James Ponder.
The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
