John Edward Waggoner passed away March 1,2022 at the age of 67, in his hometown of Verona, MS. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, John came out a hero and stayed strong until the end.

John met the love of his life, Zoraida while working on a construction site. It was love at first sight, and together they built a beautiful memorable life. In his life John has showed us love and compassion through his missionary work and world travel.

John is survived by his beautiful wife of 32 year’s Zoraida, he is a proud father of 4 daughters( Charity Olsen, Christina Romero, Alischa Williams, and Jessica  Wooten) 5 sons( Jonathan Waggoner, Andrew Romero, Michael Romero, Alexander Romero, and Juan Waggoner) 22 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.  His 3 sisters( Norma Gardenhire, Faye Urbanski, and Christy McCloud) and 2 brothers( Eugene Waggoner and Timothy Lee Waggoner).

John will be honored at Holland’s Funeral Home on March 5th, 2022 visiting hours 1-2 pm, following a Memorial service at 2pm.
