Cassie Bryan Gilbertson, 69, passed away on March 14, 2022, at her residence in Cedar Bluff. Cassie was born on July 23, 1952, in Louisville, to the late Ivan "Pop" and Susie Holder Bryan. She enjoyed family get-togethers, especially spending time with her granddaughter, Ansley. She was a very happy and giving person. She loved animals, especially dogs. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was of the Methodist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Canada.

A Celebration of Life will be on Monday, March 21, 2022, at 3:00 P.M. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. James Towery officiating. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Survivors include her husband, George Gilbertson, son, Bryan Gilbertson (Audie), granddaughter, Ansley Gilbertson, all of Cedar Bluff: three sisters, Lynette Allen (Ed) and Suzette Stokes (Kenny), both of Chunky and Suzanne White (Johnny) of Dekalb, one brother, Johnny Bryan of Scooba and a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the donors Charity of Choice.
