Mrs. Trena Lucille Boyd, 74, died Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital North Mississippi. The funeral will be Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at Delay Baptist Church with Reverend Blaine Davis officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Waller Funeral Home and again prior to the service beginning at 1:00 P.M. at the church. Burial will follow in Delay Cemetery.

Mrs. Boyd was born on November 28, 1947, in Blytheville, AR to the late John Dale and Janie Landrum. She was a longtime employee of Wal-Mart and a faithful member of Delay Baptist Church. She was an avid reader and also enjoyed going to flea markets and antiquing. The friendships she made through her involvement with the Paris Quilting Club were an important part of her life. Her family and friends would often talk about her wonderful southern-style cooking and she enjoyed getting everyone together as often as she could. Mrs. Boyd was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronnie and Johnny Landrum; and a sister, Donna Page.

Mrs. Boyd is survived by her husband of 57 years, Mike Boyd of Paris, MS; a daughter, Johnnie Michelle Leggio of Baton Rouge, LA; a son, Jeffery Boyd of Water Valley, MS; a sister, Ann George of Clinton, MO; four grandchildren, Shelby Nicole Thomas, Scott Bearden, Katherin Gill and John Michael Leggio; and three great grandchildren, Jace Leggio, Ethan Gill and Hank Thomas.
