Anthony Benard Harper, 59, transitioned on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at his home in Byhalia, MS.

Anthony Harper was born January 3, 1963, in Memphis, TN.

He accepted Christ at an early age.

He departed this life on March 19, 2022, at his home in Byhalia, MS.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Lorine Harper; his grandfather, Mose Harper; his aunt, Listerine Wilson; and his uncle, A.Q. Wilson.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory his mother, Birdia Harper; his daughters whom he loved dearly, Aundrea Thompson and Antoinette Thompson; his son, Shermaine Thompson; four grandchildren, Morgan Falkner, Jayden, Xavier and Nathan Thompson; his stepdaughter, Latisha Thompson, and a host of family and friends that will miss him dearly, a close friend, Patricia Allen.

Visitation will be Friday, March 25, 2022, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home, Holly Springs, MS

Service will be Sunday, March 27, 2022, 2:00 p.m., at Mt. Olive M. B. Church, 1612 Wall Hill Rd., Byhalia, MS.

Burial will follow at Roberts Chapel C.M.E. Church Cemetery, 2473 Wall Hill Rd., Coldwater, MS.

Serenity-Autry Funeral Home of Holly Springs, MS, is in charge of arrangements.
