Anteo Foote, 46, transitioned on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, in Algoma, MS.

Anteo Foote, "Teo,"  was born on September 29, 1975  in Aurora, Illinois, to Harvey Foote and Ethel Mae Foote. He went home to be with the Lord on April 27, 2022. Anteo accepted Christ at an early age. He was a member of House of Freedom.

He was a very unique man that could do just about anything. His two main careers were doing construction and cutting hair. He was a man that loved family. He didn't care who it was, he had altercations with, he would always be the one to put his pride down and make things right. 

Anteo was a people's person, everywhere he went, he was very well known. You would always hear him coming, that music would be loud and he would be leaned back in that seat. He could get along with just about anybody, but he always stood his ground. Everyone knew that if Anteo lost his way, he always bounced back, nothing could ever keep him down. 

He leaves to cherish his many memories  5 daughters; Latressica Taylor, Lekeva (Devin) Snow, Antionna Jeffries, Kamia Foote, and Devieanna Foote, 5 sons;  Diandre Jeffries, Terrell Wade, Dontarius Harper, Matthew Jerrell Miller, and Tabyous Chatman; His mother: Ethel mae Foote and father: Harvey Foote (Evelyn "Vickie"),  2 sisters; Vanessa Foote and Tameca Foote, 2 brothers; Dominique (Charan) Foote and Trujillo (Josephine) Foote, 4 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, May 6, 2022, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Serenity-Simmons Funeral Home Chapel, New Albany, MS.

Services will be Saturday, May 7, 2022, 12:00 Noon, New Birth Community Church, New Albany, MS.

Burial will take place at St. James Temple COGIC (St. Rest Cemetery), Highway 4  Ashland Road, Ripley, MS.

Serenity-Simmons Funeral Home of New Albany, MS, is in charge of arrangements.
