Kardeair Dewayne Burton, 3, transitioned on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital, Memphis, TN.
He was born December 6, 2018 to Ebony Hurd in Oak Lawn, IL.
He leaves to cherish his memories his mother: Ebony Hurd of Corinth, MS; two sisters: Zy’Aira Burton and Zamora Hurd both of Corinth, MS; grandmother Jackie Hurd of IL; grandfather Casey Lockhart of IL; 2 Great grandmothers Annie Hurd and Scenie Lockhart both of IL, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, May 27, 2022, 11:00 a.m., Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel, Holly Springs, MS.
Service will follow at 12:00 Noon, at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel, Holly Springs, MS.

Dear Burton family, one of the saddest things someone can experience is the death of a loved one. Did you know the Bible compares death to sleep? (Psalms 13:3) Just as a person who is asleep is unaware of what is happening around him, the dead are not conscious of anything. There is a promise of hope in the Bible. Our loving God has promised to awaken the dead, as if from sleep, and give them life again. Acts 24:15 says, “There is going to be a resurrection.” The bible offers comfort for those who are grieving and I hope this brings you comfort as well.
