Isom Bishop Robinson was born November 11, 1945, in Water Valley, Mississippi to the late Lexie and Rushia Bishop Robinson. He departed this life at the age of 76 on May, 25, 2022.
He received his education in the Panola county school system. Isom was employed at Georgia Pacific for over 3o years and retired in 2007. Isom (IB) was a member of the Pleasant Green M.B. Church where he served as an usher. He enjoyed fellowshipping with his church family before his health started to fail and the Covid-19 pandemic.
In 1978, Isom and Lourine Johnson Robinson were united in Holy matrimony. Together they had daughter, LaPhelia Robinson.

Isom was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Lexie and Mrs. Rushia Robinson; siblings, Lyvert, Lemoyne, Joyceland, Tommy, Lloyd, James and Vera.

IB leaves to cherish his memory, one daughter, LaPhelia Robinson; two sisters, Erie Fouche’ of Memphis, TN, Dorothy (Royce) Coleman of Markham, IL; two brothers, Lexie Gene (Julia Ann) Robinson of Water Valley, MS, Joseph (Mary) Robinson of Markham, IL; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

A wake is planned for Friday, June 3, 2022, in the Gardiner Room at Seven Oaks Funeral Home from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Services will be held at11:00 AM Saturday, June 4, 2022 in the sanctuary of Pleasant Green M.B. Church with Rev. Dr. Preston Gleeton officiating. Burial will be in the church Cemetery.
