Shirley Ann Scruggs, 55, transitioned on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at her residence in Michigan City, MS.

Shirley Ann Williams-Scruggs was born December 15, 1966 to the late D.C. and Broxie Williams in Ashland MS. Shirley attended school Ashland High School.

Shirley departed this life on Thursday June 2, 2022 at her home in Michigan City, MS. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers Ricky and Jammie Williams.

Shirley's memory will forever be cherished by her four children, Nekia Williams, Tarvares Williams both  of Ashland MS, Demarcus Williams (Lorene) of New Albany MS, Erica Scruggs (Jermaine Hayes) of Ripley MS;  a dear friend Mathis Holcomb of Michigan City, MS; her husband William Scruggs of Ashland MS; four brothers L.D. Williams (Tammy) of Columbus, Ohio, Bruce (Lisa) Williams, Kenneth Williams, Alexander Williams of Ashland MS; four sisters Rosie Williams, Janice (Bobbie) Bostick, Annie (Michael) Bostick of Ashland, MS and Claudette Williams (Roosevelt) of Ripley, MS; thirteen grandchildren, aunts,  uncles and a host of nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, June 10, 2022, 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel, Holly Springs, MS.

Services will be Saturday, June 11, 2022, 11:00 a.m., at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel, Holly Springs, MS.

Burial will be at Bullock Cemetery, Ashland, MS.

Serenity-Autry Funeral Home of Holly Springs, MS, is in charge of arrangements.
