Mr. Aubrey R. “Bobby” Boatright, 80, died at his home in Oxford, MS Thursday, June 2, 2022. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at Sand Springs Presbyterian Church in Oxford, MS with Rev. Michelle Howie and Rev. Mark Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Orwood Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Monday, June 6, 2022 from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Waller Funeral Home in Oxford, MS and the day of service at the church beginning at 10:00 A.M.

Born in Water Valley, MS to the late A. E. and Sarah Lessie Gray Boatright, Mr. Boatright was a member of Sand Springs Presbyterian Church. He retired as the Head Operator at the Waste Water Treatment Plant after 30 Years of service. Bobby was a “Jack of all Trades,” doing anything he set his mind to. He practiced taxidermy, worked in leather crafting, repaired firearms, raised all kinds of animals and enjoyed building. After buying his land, his building projects began with a barn, then a cabin, next a house, and finally transforming his barn into a home. He also worked with Dr. Shivers as a Veterinary Assistant.

Bobby is survived by his sister, Barbara Webb and her husband, Tommy, of Oxford, MS.
