Christopher Cody McDaniel, 33, died Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at his home in Oxford, MS. A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 19, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at Oasis Church of All Nations with Dr. Mozart Dor officiating.

Cody was born on December 27, 1988, in Atlanta, GA. An outdoorsman by nature, he enjoyed fishing and mud-riding. Cody was a gifted auto mechanic, with the ability to look at any vehicle and tell you the make and model. He was passionate about working on cars and loved to see a challenging project through to the end. Enthusiastic about life, you could always count on Cody to have a smile on his face and a positive, light-hearted attitude. Cody was preceded in death by his grandparents, Billy and Hattie Holcomb and Curtis R. and Wilda McDaniel.

Cody is survived by his mother, Wendy Holcomb of Oxford, MS; father and step-mother, Curtis and Diane McDaniel of Olive Branch, MS; daughter, Annabelle Nicole McDaniel of Water Valley, MS; son, Alden Hubbard of Water Valley, MS; mother of his children, Brittany Hubbard of Water Valley, MS; sister, Brandi Hall Watson and her husband, Paul of Lake Charles, LA; brother, Brent Nathaniel Hall of Oxford, MS; aunts, Leslie Moore and her husband, Glenn of St. Francesville, LA, Nada Schafer and her husband, Doug of Springfield, MO, and Amanda Haskett of Cordova, TN; and uncle, Bennie McDaniel and his wife, Susan of Garland, TX.
