Mr. Terry Ray Hamm, 56, died Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Hamm officiation. Burial will follow in Eastover Memorial Cemetery. The visitation will be held prior to the service at the funeral home beginning at 12:00 noon.

Terry was born on October 21, 1965, in Keiser, AR. Terry worked as a welder and fabricator in the steel industry, fabricating the iconic Walk of Champions sign in the Ole Miss Grove and the arch at the old Baptist Memorial Hospital, as well as Dr. Purdon’s fence and gate. An admirer of classic vehicles and motorcycles, Terry always dreamt of owning his own Harley Davidson. He was fondly known as “Ham Bone” and “John Boy” by his family and close friends. Terry was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Ray Hamm; his wife, LaDonna Hamm; his daughter, Emily Hamm; and his son, Caleb Hamm; and sister, Jennifer Hamm.

Terry is survived by his mother, Gertie Mae Hamm of Seminary, MS; daughters, Khristina Hastings and her husband, Chuck of Oxford, MS, Terri Edwards and her husband, Trent of Oxford, MS, Jessica Hamm of Seminary, MS, Megan Hamm of Seminary, MS, Tracy Hamm of Seminary, MS, Jasmine Hamm and her husband, Bryan of Oxford, MS, and Aliva Hamm and her husband, Chris of Ocean Springs, MS; sons, Terrance “Tray” Hamm and his wife, Kallie of Abbeville, MS, Dominick Hamm and his wife, Rebekha of Oxford, MS, and Christopher Hamm of Oxford, MS; sisters, Cindy Starnes of Ingomar, MS and Melinda Brooks of Collins, MS; brother, Jeff Hamm of Vicksburg, MS; as well as 23 grandchildren.
