Ms. Linda Carole Sherrill, age 69, died at her residence Monday, July 4, 2022. She was born May 18, 1953 in Tupelo, Mississippi, to the union of John Raymond Turman and Mary Evelyn “Mae” Johnson. She was a graduate of Nettleton High School. Linda was a graphic artist with her last employment being with J W Moore Printing Company. She attended Pleasant Grove Community Church in Shannon, MS, but enjoyed visiting various churches. During her spare time she enjoyed painting, spiritual studies, and outdoor activities. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren whom she loved dearly.
A memorial service celebrating Linda’s life will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Pleasant Grove Community Church in Shannon, with Rev. Bill Henderson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the church. Condolences to the family may be posted at hollandfuneraldirectors.com.
Survivors include her two sons, Michael Sparrenberger (Kristi) of Byhalia, and Nathan Sherrill (Heather ) of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren, Jacob, Loren, Alyssa, Loxley, and Braxton; one great-grandchild, Virginia “Gigi”.
