Mr. Minter Marion, 88, transitioned on Friday, July 8, 2022, at his home, in Holly Springs, MS.

Minter Marion, Jr., was born May 11, 1934 to the late Minter Marion and Fannie Ingram Marion. He attended Kimbrough Chapel School in Lamar, Mississippi. After finishing school, Minter held several jobs. His  working career afforded opportunities in the states of Mississippi and Tennessee working for the utility company. Minter later moved to Las Vegas, NV, where he was an employee with the City of Las Vegas.

Minter Marion, Jr. was united in holy matrimony to Pearl Marion who preceded him in death.

He departed from this earthly home July 8, 2022.

Minter Marion, Jr., leaves to cherish  his memory a son: Tim Marion, one sister: Daisy L. Marion of Memphis, TN, a host of faithful nieces and nephews who cared deeply for him until he passed. He also leaves cousins and many friends and loved ones.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Pearl,  three sisters: Mary Ellen Marion, Susie Payne, Henreatta Jones, five brothers: Hubert Marion, Charlie Marion, Simon Marion, James Marion and Robert Plaxico.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m., and Service will begin at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Hamilton Chapel C.M.E. Church, 19 Hamilton Chapel Rd., Waterford, MS.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
