S L Tate, was born January 10, 1947 in Benton County, MS to the late Mr. William and Lutisha Campbell-Tate. He professed Christ at an early age and he joined Sand Hill M.B. Church.
He departed his life on Monday July 11, 2022 at his home in Moscow, TN.
He leaves to cherish his precious memory six daughters: Teresa (Anthony) Hughes of Red Banks, MS, Doris (James) Chaffin of Memphis, TN, Cynthia (Derrick) Fallconer of Detroit, MI, Nicole (Micheal) Goodwin of Moscow, TN, Monica (Steve) Tittle of Memphis, TN, and Tiffany Thompson of Lamar, MS; four special children that he loved as his own Veletta (Osborn) Scales of Clarkdale, TN, Deveora (Daval) Collins of Lamar, MS, John (Sharon) Kimmons of Lamar, MS, and Travis Kimmons of Lamar, MS; five sisters: Doris Evans of Holly Springs, MS, Emma (Milton) Parker of Olive Branch, MS, Janice Lawrence of Olive Branch, MS, Betty Thomas of Michigan City, MS, Debbie Sanders of Lamar, MS; three brothers Barnett (Twannda) Campbell of Ashland, MS, Mike Campbell of Lamar, MS, and Mozell Hampton of Michigan; 32 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends whom he loved dearly.
He is preceded in death by his parents William and Lutisha Campbell-Tate, his brother: Jerry Tate, and his sister: Lizzie Campbell.
