Glenn Allen Turner, 87, passed away on July 12, 2022 at Vicker’s Personal Care Home in Mathiston, MS. He was owner of Glenn Turner Construction (Heavy Construction Contractor) and a member of First Baptist Church in Maben, MS. He was a loving husband, daddy, and grandfather “Paw”.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife of 68 years, June Dewberry Turner; his parents, Clell Thomas Turner and Lois O’Brian Turner; sister, Cora Frances Seawright Hunt; and a granddaughter, Gwen Turner White.
He is survived by his son, Mitchell A. Turner (Maxine) of Maben, MS; daughters, Cindy Davis (John) of Maben, MS, Malissa Carden (Jimmy) of Mathiston, MS, and Angie Carden (Stacey), of Mathiston, MS; 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, July 14, 2022 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Maben, MS, with the funeral service immediately following. Rev. Tommy Temple will conduct the service. Burial will be in Double Springs Methodist Cemetery in Maben.
