Mr. William Alvin “Billy” Westbrook, 70, died Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. The funeral will be Monday, July 25, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church in Abbeville with Rev. Scott Stewart and Rev. Mark Bell officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 9:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Eastover Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Westbrook was born on August 16, 1951, in Clarksdale, MS to the late Aaron and Virginia Westbrook. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and Shriner, and a devout member of First Baptist Church of Abbeville. An avid outdoorsman, Mr. Westbrook enjoyed time spent in nature hunting and fishing. He often visited his second home on Pickwick Lake, taking advantage of every moment he could spend on the water. Mr. Westbrook was married for 25 years to his beloved wife, Melissa. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant son, Robert Allen Westbrook.

Mr. Westbrook is survived by his wife, Melissa East Westbrook of Oxford, MS; sons, William A. Westbrook, Jr. of Oxford, MS, Steven A. Westbrook and his wife, Shane of Oxford, MS, and Walker Garrett Westbrook of Oxford, MS; as well as five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
