Hilda Jane Morris, 71, passed away on August 14, 2022 at Baptist Hospital in Jackson, MS. She was retired and was a homemaker. She dearly loved her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Frank Dawkins and Flossie Gazaway Dawkins; and her husband, Eddie K. Morris.
She is survived by her daughters, Jackie Cadd (Allen) of Starkville, MS and Rebecca Drury of Maben, MS; sons, Lane Kornegay (Stanley Kay) of Starkville, MS and Jay Morris (Jessica) of Uneedus, La; 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; brother, Matt Dawkins (Denise) of Houston, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services are scheduled for Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at New Hope Cemetery in Starkville, MS. Bro. Ron Linkins will conduct the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
