Sidney Sylvester Faulkner, 56, transitioned on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at Baptist Hospital Union County, New Albany, MS.

Sidney Sylvester Faulkner was born October 25, 1956 to the late Mary Elizabeth Faulkner (Sal) and Willie West Stinson (Nuke).

Sidney accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Mt. Comfort C.M.E. Church. There he served as an usher. He later united with the Giving Life Ministries Church and was an active member until his death. Sidney graduated from Holly Springs High School Class of 1976. Afterwards, he worked at the cheverolet dealership.

He leaves to cherish his memories: four brothers, Clark Faulkner (Leslie) of Maryville, IN. Freeman Faulkner Sr., Jerry Faulkner of Holly Springs, MS and Van Faulkner of Oxford, MS. Three sisters: Linda Norton, Louise Jones and Serverdia Snow all of Holly Springs, MS. He had a host of nieces and nephews. Special nieces and nephews: Dancisha, Johneisha, Jessika, Cedric and LaKeith.

Visitation will be Friday, August 26, 2022, 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel.

Service will be Saturday, August 27, 1022, 11:00 a.m., at New Dimension Salt & Light Ministries, Holly Springs, MS.

Burial will take place at Mt. Comfort C.M.E. Church Cemetery, Waterford, MS
