Mr. Kenneth Mickle Hayward, Jr., 65, died Wednesday, September 7, 2022, in Oxford, MS. The memorial service will be Thursday, September 15, 2022, at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Waller Funeral Home with Rev. Fish Robinson officiating. Inurnment will follow at Oxford Columbarium. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 1:00 P.M. in West Hall at Waller Funeral Home.

Mickle was born on August 26, 1957, to the late Kenneth and Dorothy Hayward. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Mississippi, and worked at the Engineering Research and Development Center, Corps of Engineers, in Vicksburg, MS. After his retirement, Mickle was happy to move back to his hometown of Oxford. He enjoyed golfing and was an avid fan of Ole Miss sports.

Mickle is survived by his daughters, Nicole Hayward Arriola and her husband, Dillon of Oxford, MS and Emily Hayward of Oxford, MS; a sister, Valerie Selman and her husband, Johnny of Madison, MS; and brother, Keith Hayward and his wife, Cheryl of Oxford, MS.
