Mr. Wallace “Chainsaw” Lee Leamond, 65, died Friday, September 9, 2022 at his home in Tula, MS. A memorial visitation will be held Tuesday, September 13, 2022 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Waller Funeral Home in Oxford, MS.

Born in Water Valley, MS to the late Harvey Ross and Dorothy Faye Scrivner Leamond, Wallace was a Self-Employed Small-Engine Repairman. He was a member of the Diamond Back Motorcycle Club of Tula, MS. Wallace could do just about anything he set his mind to, especially building anything with all the parts he would store away. His artistic talent was expressed in his building, drawing and even authoring a book. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Palmertree and two brothers, Richard Palmertree and Cary Palmertree.

He is survived by his son, Nathaniel Leamond and his wife, Tonia, of Tula, MS; sister, Wara Smith and her husband, Riley, of Oxford, MS; brothers, Robert Palmertree and his wife, Lynn, of Tupelo, MS and Ross Leamond and his wife, Kay, of Oxford, MS; and two grandchildren, Hayden Leamond and Devin Miller.
