Sherley Christine Newby (77) passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at her home in Booneville. She was a member of the House of Prayer Bible Believing Church. She enjoyed sewing, writing poetry, going to yard sales, singing, cooking, fishing and camping. She also enjoyed having her alone time.

Services are 11 am Friday, October 7, 2022 at the House of Prayer Bible Believing Church with Bro. Johnny Hamblin officiating. Burial will follow in the Kirkville Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:30-9 pm Thursday, October 6, 2022 at the church.

Sherley is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jimmy D Newby of Booneville; her son, Carl Newby (Marjorie Lynn) of Booneville; her daughters, Felicia Boykin (Robert) of Forest, Michelle Newby of Booneville, Victoria Pace (Robby) of Booneville, Ann Anglin (Jeff) of Falkner and Meranda Newby of Booneville; her daughter-in-love, Barbara Shook (Jerry) of Jumpertown; 20 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Renard & Bernice Brown Robinson; her brother, William Fines Robinson; her sister, Elizabeth Faye Robinson and her grandson, Wesley Lanier Hutcheson.

Pallbearers are Christopher Michael, Brandon Michael, Ashton Johnson, Coty Estes, Thyssen Wildmon and Lorianna Credille.

Honorary pallbearers are Robby J, Gann, Gavin, Brantley, Elijah, Madyssen, Caden and Easton.
