Joyce Rhena Kennedy Gammons (78) passed away Thursday, October 20, 2022 in Ecru. She was of Baptist faith. She enjoyed singing, playing the guitar, painting, doing arts and crafts, crocheting and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Services are 2 pm Saturday, October 22, 2022 in the Baldwyn Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Hamblin officiating. Burial will follow in the East Prentiss Cemetery. Visitation will be 12-2 pm Saturday at the funeral home.

Joyce is survived by her son, Ray Lyles of Baldwyn; her daughters, Gail Gammons of Water Valley and Evona Gammons of Ecru; her brother, Chester Kennedy of AR; her sister, Mildred Atteberry (David) of AK; her grandchildren, Tab Noah (Wiley), Brittny Warren (Jeff), Sabrina Grace, Stanley Barnett III (Hilary), Candace Fielder, Johnny Fielder III, Cory Abney, Denita Kay Wilson (Eric), Michael Liles, Christian Gammons and Kelsey Gammons and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Lucille Kennedy; her husband, Avon Gammons; her sons, Chester Dean and Avondale Gammons, Jr; her sisters, Linda Wood and Marie Herrington and her brothers, Leon, R.H. and Dugan Kennedy.
