Dorothy LaCaze Scarbrough, 90, of the Bradley Community peacefully passed away Friday October 21, 2022 at home surrounded by family and loved ones.
She was born February 9, 1932 in Louisiana to Joseph and Emma LaCaze. She married Robert Scarbrough in 1948 and early in their marriage they moved to Bradley Community and raised their children. She was active in the community and church activities. She was always filled with encouragement and a positive view and enjoyed life with family and friends.
She is survived by two daughters, Dorothy Pearson (Hugh) and Deyvonne Lynn Dulaney (Kenny) and a son Robert, Jr.(Cathy). Her grandchildren are Shannon Scarbrough, Paul Pearson, Bradley Dulaney, Kelsey Scarbrough, and Amanda Owen.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Emma LaCaze, her husband Robert Scarbrough, and her son Keith Scarbrough.
Visitation is Monday October 24, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville. Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 PM at Welch Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Tim Buchanan.
Internment will follow in Craig Springs Cemetery in Oktibbeha County.
