Gearldine Fleming
Baldwyn- Gearldine Carter Fleming, 79, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2022 at the NMMC. Before becoming a housewife, she retired from Charm Step Shoes in Fulton MS and was owner of LGR Trucking, along with her husband and son. She enjoyed reading and watching her hummingbirds. Gearldine loved her dog “Buddy” and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had a big heart and cared dearly for everyone. She was a member of Parker Chapel Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at Waters Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 3:00 p. m. with Bro. Ray Guin officiating. Burial will be in Kirkville Cemetery.
She is survived by two daughters, Tina Wood (Jamie) and Rhonda Johnson (Eddie) all of Baldwyn; two sons, Tony Fleming (Mindy) of Rienzi and Randell Fleming (Kathy) of Baldwyn; ten grandchildren, Michael, Carrie, Tracy, Miranda, Jessie, Emily, Amanda, Stephen, Sarah and Holly; (16) great-grandchildren; host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Carrie Bennett Carter; husband of 57 years, Loyd Fleming; son, Tommy Joe Fleming; (3) sisters; (6) brothers; and a great-grandchild, Brooklyn.
Her grandchildren and nephews will serve as her pallbearers.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home on Wednesday from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
