Evelyn Eaton
Baldwyn- Evelyn Eaton, 92, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at the NMMC. She enjoyed sewing, reading, watching television, especially sports and she loved her pets. She retired from teaching for the Baldwyn School District and she was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at Mt. Olive Baptist Church on Wednesday, November 02, 2022 at 11:00 a. m. with Dr. Chester Harrison and Bro. Stanley Huddleston officiating. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery. Waters Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
She is survived by her daughter, Ruth Ann Carnes (Mark) of Mt. Juliett, TN; sons, Timothy Eaton (Connie) of Tupelo, Mark Eaton of Collierville, TN and John Eaton (Carole) of Weatherford, TX; (4) grandchildren, Lindsay Hardy (Daniel), Braxton Eaton, Alex Eaton and Courtney Carnes; host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Bryson Palmer; husband, Bennie Eaton; son, Joe Eaton and a grandchild, Maggie Eaton.
Pallbearers will be Braxton Eaton, Daniel Hardy, Alex Eaton, Mark Carnes, H T Palmer, Red Shelton and Jerry Palmer.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening at Waters Funeral Home from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. The body will lie in the church one hour prior to the service.
