Richard Ray
Baldwyn- Richard Ray, 73, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at his daughter’s home. He was an avid MSU and New Orleans Saints fan. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends, fishing, and playing pool and being in pool tournaments. He loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. He was the head butcher for Kroger and a veteran of the MS Army National Guard. Richard was a Baptist.
Funeral services will be at Waters Funeral Home on Wednesday at 3:00 p. m. with Bro. James Vandevander officiaiting. Burial will be in Prentiss Memorial Gardens.
He is survived by two daughters, Rachal Ray Idol (Brian) of SC and Rebecca Ray Sudduth (Donald) of Saltillo; (3) sisters, Patricia Pace (Lanny) of Brandon, Cathy Buatt (Hunter) of Memphis and Carol Kent (Paul) of Brandon; brother, Ronald Ray (Judy) of Blue Springs; (5) grandchildren, Haley Idol, Carter Idol, Gabriel Idol, Dakota Sudduth and Arianna Sudduth; host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Pattie Foster; mother of his children, Linda Ray and a grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Donald Sudduth, Brian Idol, Dan Wilson and Mike Chunn.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home on Wednesday from 1:00 – 3:00 p. m.
