Mrs. Marjorie Ann Stacey Vinson, 79, died Thursday, November 10, 2022, at her residence. The funeral will be Monday, November 14, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Waller Funeral Home with Reverends Mark Glidewell and Terry Floyd officiating. Visitation will be held in West Hall, prior to the service beginning at 12:00 Noon. Burial will follow in Forrest Memorial Cemetery in Batesville, MS.

Marjorie was born on February 27, 1943, to the late Georgia Virginia Green and Thomas Madden Stacey in Nashville, TN. She was a faithful member of First Faith Baptist Church in Batesville, MS, where she enjoyed playing dart-ball and fellowship with her family and church members. Marjorie’s hobbies included square dancing and being in the outdoors, where she loved hunting and fishing. She also had a wood shop, where she enjoyed refurbishing antique furniture and other wood items. Marjorie was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Madden Stacey; her mother, Georgia Green Stacey; her spouse, Curly T. Vinson; her daughter, Georgia Sue Evans; and son, Harold Dean Nicholson, Jr.

Marjorie is survived by three sons, Anthony Vinson (Quma) of Olive Branch, MS, Terry Vinson of Shelbyville, TN, and Thomas Nicholson (Debra) of Batesville, MS; as well as fifteen grandchildren and twenty-nine great-grandchildren.
