Mr. John “J.D.” Bark, 64, died Saturday, November 19, 2022, at his home in Oxford, MS. A Memorial Service will be held by the family at a later date. Waller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Born in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Irene Walker and George Lawrence Bark, Mr. Bark worked construction. He previously served as a volunteer fireman for the Gore Springs Volunteer Fire Department in Grenada County. Mr. Bark was an avid hunter and fisherman, and reveled in any outdoor activities. He used his construction experience as a maintenance supervisor for a number of apartment complexes and trailer parks.
Mr. Bark is survived by his wife, Dawnya Bark of Oxford, MS; three sons, Jason Bark and his wife Sara of Belden, MS, and James Alan Bark and Stephen Lawrence Bark, both of Oxford, MS; and one granddaughter, Adayne Hester of Belden, MS.
