Mrs. Carol Anne Thweatt, 74, died Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi. The funeral will be Sunday, December 4, 2022, at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Waller Funeral Home with Reverend Ron Provence officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow at Eastover Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Carol was born on June 30, 1948, in Memphis, Tennessee to the late William and Allene Faust. She had an incredible and trusting faith in Jesus Christ that provided her with a profound sense of peace and joy. Eager to share this gift with others, she was always inviting people to join her for church services and gatherings. With a career of over 47 years in childcare, Mrs. Carol was dedicated to the care of children, working at both South Lamar Baptist Church and ABC Learning Center. Parents in the Oxford-Lafayette community were comforted by the loving care Mrs. Carol provided to their children, and always knew they were safe in her care. Known for her joyful spirit, she always had a smile on her face and something positive to say. Family meant more to Mrs. Carol than anything else in the world. She maintained a lifelong, close relationship with her siblings, and was a deeply devoted wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charlie Faust; and two sisters, Clara Smith and Gloria Kelly.

Mrs. Carol is survived by her husband, Bobby Thweatt of Oxford, MS; three sons, Ronnie Thweatt of Oxford, MS; Randy Thweatt and his wife, Janene of Oxford, MS; and Scott Miller and his husband, Joel of Nashville, TN; three sisters, Billie Hudgins of Oxford, MS; Nancy Smith of Oxford, MS; and Nona Lynn Carter of Texas; three brothers, Harvey Faust of Olive Branch, MS; Vernon Faust of Oxford, MS; and Kenny Faust of Texas; as well as five grandchildren, Shannon Thweatt; Zachary Thweatt and his wife, Jordan; Joshua Thweatt; William Miller; and Josie Miller.
