Grady Hugh White, 86, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022, peacefully at his home surrounded by family. He was born December 14, 1935, to Fred and Eula Grace Lauderdale White. He was a graduate of Pisgah School. Grady was a Mechanical and Electrical Engineer, and the owner of C&I Contractors. He was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church. Grady was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He had a high respect for farmers. He was a man’s man that enjoyed playing dominoes, pool, poker, fishing, and hunting.
A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 8, 2022, at Pisgah Cemetery. Services are under the direction of McMillan Funeral Home.
He is survived by one son, Barry (Cindy) White; three daughters, Cheryl (Arnie) Burcham, Kim (Mickey) Moore and Tracey (Eddy) Davis; one brother, Curt (Helen) White; 11 grandchildren, Joshua (Tamara) Yates, Lindsay Pate, Austin (Amber) Buck, Jacquelen (Bill) Bahn, Chip (Dusty) Moore, Keeton (Nikki) White, Jordan White, Arizona (Dustin) Baggett, Jamieson (Matthew) Putnam, Grant (Jessica) Davis and Logan (Gina) Davis; and 27 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Treva “Jackie” White; one son, Kenny “Todd” White; his parents; one brother, Billy White; and one sister, Betty Jean Smith.
Pallbearers are Josh Yates, Austin Buck, Chip Moore, Grant Davis, Logan Davis, Keeton White, Jordan White and Dustin Baggett.
Honorary pallbearer is Tom Staggs.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pisgah Cemetery Fund, C/o Jimmy Maddox, 395 CR 8301, Rienzi, MS 38865.
