Mr. Wade McAlexander, 73, died Friday, December 16, 2022, in Holly Springs, MS. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at 12:00 noon in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home with Mr. William Tubbs officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Flat Cemetery in Oxford, MS. The visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 A.M. until service time.

Born in Lafayette County, MS to the late Rufus Ervin and Ila L. Van Winkle McAlexander, Wade retired from North East Mississippi Electric Power Association where he worked as a meter reader. He enjoyed working on and collecting antique cars. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth Wayne McAlexander, Gene McAlexander and Alvin McAlexander.

Mr. McAlexander is survived by his wife, Barbara Churchill McAlexander of Oxford, MS; two step-sons, Brandon Hogue of Potts Camp, MS and Ben Hogue and his wife, Kristen, of Potts Camp, MS; and three step-grandchildren.
