Omie Burks
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Omie Burks, 60, is set for 1:00 pm Friday at Memorial Funeral Home. Family will receive family and friends Friday from 12:00 to service time.
Omie died November 29, 2022 at her residence. She was born November 16, 1962 to the late Lloyd and Faye Burks. She was of the Christian faith and a former construction worker. She enjoyed wood crafting and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Burks; mother, Faye Parsons; and brothers, Randy Burks and Sidney Burks.
She is survived by her daughters, Tiffany McAfee and Charity McAfee; grandchildren, Alyssa McCollum, Kayden McCollum and Isabella Jourdan; sisters, Connie Moffett (Michael Collums), Lana Hammock (Warren) and Brenda Burks; and a host of other family and friends.
