Mr. James Keith Oswalt, 61, died Monday, January 9, 2023, at his home in Oxford, MS. The memorial service will be Monday, January 23, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Waller Funeral Home with Rev. Rob Futral officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 12:00 noon.
Mr. Oswalt was born on January 23, 1961, to the late Van and Mildred Oswalt. He worked as an electrician in the HVAC industry. A native of Oxford, Mr. Oswalt was an enthusiast of all Ole Miss sports. When he didn’t have a game on, he loved watching his favorite television show, The Three Stooges. Mr. Oswalt enjoyed classic, southern food. He is remembered for his fun personality and his ability to make others laugh. His greatest joy in life was being a grandfather and spending time with his grandson.
Mr. Oswalt is survived by his daughter, Olivia Nieburg and her husband, Steven of Brandon, MS; brothers, Mark Oswalt of Oxford, MS and Mike Oswalt and his wife, Lavelle of Gainesville, FL; his grandson, Noah Nieburg; and a niece and nephew, Benjamin and Andrea.
