Pamela Sue Dykes
Baldwyn- Pamela Sue Dykes, 67, passed on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at the NMMC. She had her Masters Degree in nursing and had served as an RN at NMMC for 31 years. She enjoyed hummingbirds, gardening and taking care of people. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Asbury Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be at Waters Funeral Home on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at 2:00 with Bro. Robert McCoy officiating. Burial will be in Asbury Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Hoyle Dykes, JR. of Baldwyn; daughters, Crystal Sanders (Frank) of Hills Chapel and Kimberley Butler (Andrew) of Clinton; sister, Diannah Coggins (Rex) of Baldwyn; brothers, Sam Hatfield (Susan) of Pontotoc and Roger Hatfield of Baldwyn; grandchildren, Olivia Mae Sanders, Seth Owen Sanders, Haleigh Jordan Sanders, Hunter Butler and Tavian Austin Collins; brother-in-law, Phillip “Red” Reynolds.
She was preceded in death by her parents William and Geneva Yarbrough Hatfield and a sister, Cindy Reynolds.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home on Sunday from noon until service time @ 2:00 p. m.
